BIKES AND HELMETS

"TESTS ON FAITH"

The owner of this helmet wanted something to do with faith, and the difficulty maintaining your faith when temptation stands right before you, or in this case - behind you. The colour tones on the front and back symbolize the good and bad sides to each being, while the art on the front illustrates how one tries to keep one's faith strong and pure, while temptation occassionally seems to slide in from the back, making living a life without immorality and sin rather challenging for even the most unsoiled of beings - but, perhaps, this is God's plan?

"BLUE FLAME"

Just a helmet & bike I'd painted for a friend of mine; blue flames being the object of his fascination, I added a skull or two to make it look more appealing.

"MATRIX"

The owner of this bike wanted it to look like the Matrix theme, being fascinated with the Matrix trilogy, as well as have his tattoo studio logo at the centre of the tank. He wanted the design to be worked in such a way that the symbols would appear to glow and fade away into the dark. The owner being a good friend of mine, I refused to allow a cash payment to be decided on, so we set our minds instead on a "barter deal", where I would paint his bike for him, and he would tattoo me for free - A deal struck well, in my opinion!

"KICKIN' UP YOUR SKULLS"

This was my attempt at a blend of old-school and modern bike art for any kind of Chopper. If noticed closely, the skulls are old-school yet somehow modern, with a strikingly realistic frame for old-school art, thus emphasizing the use of modern means.
