"GANGSTARS FROM THE DARK SIDE"

Working on this car is actually quite a bit of an interesting story... I didn't start working on it because of any artistic urges, in fact it had nothing to do with art - It started off as a bet with a friend of mine, who thought that I couldn't finish it in a night. Rising to the challenge, I immediately unbolted the hood, and got to work. I wasn't entirely sure how to go about it in the beginning, but I got the job done, and won the bet while at it.

As for elaboration on the picture that I chose to design the car with... Let's just say that it reflected perfectly my state of mind at the time, and my roaring anger at the audacity of the bet... Yep, I have a bit of an "artist's-ego"! "Gangstars" was something my friend liked to call his group of friends, "Dark Side" was the name of my airbrush studio, and the picture just so happened to perfectly sum up my emotions about him, and was also a way of saying... Well, "in your face".

"M-HAWK"

My friend bought this brand-new SUV, fresh out of the showroom, but had absolutely no idea what he wanted me to do on it. I decided to sleep on it, and see if I'd come up with something in a couple of days.

The TV commercial for this car seemed to do the trick, and inspired me to design 2 hawks on either side, because of its famous "M-Hawk engine". Due to the car's immense size, it was a bit of a difficult task making both hawks match, though I seemed to pull it off - Both hawks now match perfectly, inch to inch.

"CENTAUR"

This piece of work is very special to me - it's the first car that I ever painted. I decided to paint a centaur with flames, for the owner is a professional horse-rider, who also happens to be a Sagittarius - what's more, I even ended up painting this during the month of the Sagittarius! In my opinion, his star sign characterizes his profession - the way the human body and that of the horse merge and become as one while riding - that, is what I wanted to emphasize and depict while working on this.
